needed man hands to put it on. couldn't do it myself. bought oct 24, 2021. not like memory foam were your hand print gets stuck. loved that. cleaning wise you can take a wipe and just do it like that. couldn't get into creases but not a deal breaker for me. Loosens up over time for sure so it'll move around to 'open'/move the cover to get to certain spots. the actual 'soft' part does take a lil minute to dry though. i usually do that first at the car wash. i guess the way i hold it added to it peeling. but also it's always hot and humid where i stay so that might hv added as well. might order this same one again.I'm glad I found this product at a great price. Had to get my MONEY back BECAUSE the outside seems came apart. So I got my return and my gift card was returned to my MONEY back and still got this one sent to me for free BECAUSE of the 30 day guarantee policy! HOPEFULLY this one will hold up better the first time! Great product and very soft to grip when I drive and NEVER gets hot!!!!???????????????A little difficult to get one but once get it on it’s so soft nice feel!If you have any issues with your fingers/hands (arthritis etc ) don't purchase this. It is extremely hard to put on. Once it's on its fine. Not as plush as the one I used to get at Walmart buy its fine.At first i was set back by the color being so light it was almost not beige anymore but its a good tough product that will not tear around the edges like the walmart brands do. Its not as cushy and soft as the weaker material but if i jave to choose, i choose longer lasting verses softer.I live in Arizona and it gets extremely hot in the summer (well 6 months out of the year) and the actual steering wheel gets super hot to where you can barely touch it. I first tried one of these covers (got it from Walmart but they don't carry them any longer) and it was perfect. The little bit of leather on the edges cracked from the heat but that was after 3+ years. So happy that I found a replacement on Amazon. A little tricky putting it on but once it's installed, it's great! Thinking about getting one for my daughter..actually they would be a good Christmas gift ready for next summer!I have arthritis in my hands, and had a hard time getting this on the steering wheel. I was ready to give up, when I decided to try warming up the cover. The lowest setting on my oven is 170 degrees. I pre-heated the oven, then put it in for about 10 minutes. I put cookie sheets under it, in case it melted. (It didn't.) I used a hot pad to carry it out to the car, and was then able to stretch it enough to get it on--but it was still tight. It's cooled off, fits great. Your results may vary.Years ago I bought a black memory foam steering wheel cover from walmart for about $8 for my car. I loved it and it stayed on there for nearly 5 years until it began to fall apart in pieces. Figuring Amazon may have something better, I bought this product. The first thing I noticed was how slippery the padding was. It was a little harder to grip. Not thinking too much of it I traded in our second car and while at Walmart found the same product so bought it again. There is a fast difference between the Walmart product and this one. The Walmart product is softer and has a little more grip. I am kicking myself that I didn't just stick with what I knew.
